“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ…”  Ephesians 1:3
Warren Wiersbe tells the story of William Randolph Hearsts, an avid art collector.  One day Mr. Hearst read of an extremely valuable piece of art, and his mind was made up that he had to have this particular piece of art.  He instructed his agent to search the world to find this piece of art.

After months of investigation and searching, his agent finally found the piece of artwork.  It belonged to Mr. Hearst who had stored it in his own warehouse many years ago.

I wonder if sometimes we are on a similar search.  We desire God’s blessing on our life, so we search for it in all kinds of places.

The Bible teaches us that God’s blessing isn’t out there somewhere to be found.  It’s already been poured out on your life through Jesus Christ!  Open up the warehouse of your soul and you will find God’s riches blessings on your life.

Paul tells us in the opening of his letter to the Ephesians, that God “has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ…”

Let those words take root in your soul!  You are blessed with every spiritual blessing!

God is not withholding anything from you, but gives His all to you. You have been blessed beyond measure! Walk in truth today, knowing and believing that you are blessed.  You are blessed to be a blessing!  Who can you be a blessing to this week?
