Antioch Church in Conway, Arkansas has an incredible God-sized vision to plant a new church in the Austin, Texas area. One of the many things that drew me personally to this opportunity was the desire to send a team.
In Summer of 2017, I will be leading a faith-filled, Christ-centered, people-loving group of people to plant a church in Georgetown, TX. We are excited about the opportunity God has placed before us. Our ultimate goal is not to just have weekly worship services. Our ultimate goal is not to just build a structure. Our ultimate goal is to take the gospel to a people who are in desperate need of Him! May we never forget that God’s work is redeeming and restoring people. I’m just honored to be a part of it.

Georgetown, TX is the fastest growing city in America. It is a suburb of the most influential city in the state, Austin. Texas is one of the most influential states in the US. The US is one of the most influential nations in the world.
I see Georgetown as an opportunity to influence the entire world for the kingdom of God!

Georgetown is a beautiful city 2o miles North of Austin, TX. It’s rich in history, steeped in culture, and growing like crazy! The majority of the growth is coming from young millennials who are moving out of Austin to establish their families, and from older baby boomers who are moving from across the US (many from CA) to retire. Georgetown was listed as the fastest growing city in the U.S. last year, showing a growth rate of 7.8%. Every day about 12 people move into Georgetown.
A recent survey showed that nearly 2/3 of Georgetown residents claimed no religious affiliation. The harvest is plentiful. We know there are some really great churches in Georgetown. We are going to compete, but rather compliment what is already going on.
Georgetown is an outdoor playground. With many parks and trails people find ways to be outdoors. The San Gabriel river flows through the heart of Georgetown offering many incredible views and opportunities to fish. Georgetown Lake is another gathering space where many in the area love to spend the weekends.
As the county seat for Williamson County, Georgetown has a very active town square. There are over 400,000 people who live in the county. Our desire is to plant a regional church that will be able to reach many in the surrounding areas.
